The SS23 runways have had no shortage of statement footwear to suit every silhouette- from Marc Jacobs’ beloved Kiki’s to Proenza Schouler’s sky-high, cloudlike sandals. Fit for stomping around fashion capitals, platform shoes have dug their (very high platform) heels firmly into the ground and aren’t going away anytime soon. Fendi Chunky Rubber Sandals

Fendi’s funky platforms were the star of the show at their runway debut in Milan. The brightly-coloured kicks of screaming green and punch pink made the muted neutrals of the collection pop. A bubblegum vision from Creative Director Kim Jones’ spin on Y2K, the peep-toed sandals are a front-runner for this season’s ‘It’ shoe.
