As London Fashion Week approaches, Browns are stepping in to remind us firstly to breathe, and secondly, that fashion does in fact have a fun side.

London-based artist Andy Leek has been leaving uplifting messages hidden in copies of the Metro throughout London tubes since late last year. In an effort to prove that no act is too small, his once minor project “Notes to Strangers” that responded to personal mental health struggles has grown into a full blown campaign. You may have seen his posters with handwritten slogans dotted around London. For seven days his hand-painted sweet nothings will sprawl across Browns’ South Molton and Sloane Street storefronts, whilst anyone wandering into the store will be gifted a handwritten note. In the words of Andy himself, “confidence looks great on you”.

Browns’ #cooltobekind campaign runs for one week from 15 February at 24-27 South Molton Street, W1k 5RD, and 160 Sloane Street, SW1X 9BT.
