With a new photographer behind its latest campaign, Chloé took the youthful innocence of the ‘90s we saw in its spring/summer 2016 show to the max. The label’s creative director, Clare Waight Keller, switched up the creative team for its spring campaign and hired American photographer Theo Wenner for the story. For the past few seasons, the label has been working with photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

Through Wenner’s lens, the grunge-era, bohemian sensibility and girly innocence of the SS16 collection came to light in a hazy, urban background of Buenos Aires. “This is a photographer I had worked with several times before, and I really appreciate his youthful eye and spontaneity behind the lens,” said Keller. “I wanted to bring new faces to Chloe as they represent a more adventurous, free-spirited, impulsive side of the Chloe girl.”

The new campaign also launches models Céline Bouly and Ari Westphal as the label’s new faces, alongside Antonina Petkovic and Ilvie Wittek.
