Ai Weiwei On Alcatraz 
Chinese artist Ai Weiwei has collaborated with Goo.ey to create a 176 phone cases that feature the portraits of people who have been imprisoned or exiled because of their beliefs. The portraits were first created entirely out of Lego bricks for his latest exhibition @Large- Ai Weiwei on Alcatraz, which is currently showing on Alcatraz until April 26. The portraits include Martin Luther King Jr., Nelson Mandela and Vladimir Kozov. Fifteen per cent of sales are donated to Amnesty International and another fifteen to FOR-SITE Foundation. Celebrating the UK's textile industry
The UK's textile industry most often makes headlines for being in decline but UKFT (UK Fashion and Textile Association) has made it its mission to change that. The organisation works to promote the growth of the industry. It is one the most inclusive and influential networks, representing over 2,500 companies throughout the UK and promoting the industry in the UK, at EU level and globally. This May, UKFT are hosting an awards ceremony, hosted by Jack Guinness and Amber le Bon to support talent in manufacturing and design. Read more about the work of UKFT here.

Vivienne Westwood’s Worlds End Capsule has now launched at Opening Ceremony! The collection revives “Clothes for Heroes” archive with a focus on the ‘70s and ‘80s, recreating designs from the past like the AW 1983 Three Tongue Trainer or AW 1983 Clint Eastwood Bomber Jacket.
