As New York Fashion Week kicks off, we’ve got our ear to the ground for some of the most exciting shows coming up. London-based designer Zoë Jordan will take her SS16 collection across the pond this season to New York, but instead of your standard runway show she will show her collection via KCD’s Digital Fashion Shows platform. Jordan was awarded the British Fashion Council’s 2014 Contemporary Award and its Fashion Trust grant in 2014.

This online-only runway platform will show her collection to a global online audience. The digital offering will not just present a standalone show, but also provide all the information needed for users to review, cover and buy the collection. Jordan has chosen this medium because “social media has facilitated insightful and interesting conversations with my audience which I couldn’t have had otherwise.” The collection is entitled ‘Archipelago,’ a nod to the natural world which inspired it.

So if you’re stuck in London for NYFW, you don’t have to miss Zoë Jordan’s show. You don’t even really have to get out of your pyjamas. The Zoë Jordan Digital Fashion Show begins viewing at 2pm GMT on Thursday September 10, on digitalfashionshows.com.
