Handbag brand TL-180 have announced their SS16 campaign called "Un'Estate 180." It is inspired by "Un’estate Italiana", (an Italian holiday), and shows different groups of Italian friends in their natural habitat, on the beach.

The film presents the newest collection, which includes the Reporteur mini shoulder bag and the Cabas large tote bag. Pastel shades of lilac, yellow and pink contrast with darker tones of blue and brown. TL-180 was founded in 2010 by the French-Italian designers Luis Orsini and Tine Peduzzi, and each of their collections is inspired by an iconic film.

Luis and Tine say that the film “encapsulates the joyful Italian spirit of the 1960s, inspired by Sapore di Mare, an Italian film from the 1980s. The film portrays a typical Italian summer in the idyllic beach spot, Forte de Marmi, a classic holiday destination, that people tend to visit yearly from June to September. The muted colours and tones in the film was something that really resonated with us, and we were keen to replicate this in our new handbag collection.”

A launch party will be held for the collection this Friday 2 October in Paris.
