NEWGEN is fashion's crystal ball – the award is a handy way to determine who will be London's next crop of successful designers. Just look at past winners who include Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane and J.W. Anderson. Now, nine new winners have been announced for 2015. The winning group are given sponsorship to showcase their SS16 collections at September's London Fashion Week, as well as a pop-up showroom where buyers can make sales appointments.

Catwalk sponsorship has been awarded to a diverse selection of designers, rewarding the minimalist intricacies of 1205, Ashley Williams' cats and cowboy prints, and the Harajuku/kawaii/Lolita inspired Ryan Lo. The presentation sponsorship goes to designers experimenting with fabrics, recognising oil painted leathers from Claire Barrow, handwoven fabrics from Faustine Steinmetz, Danielle Romeril's hand craft-orientated textiles and the bright, tulle creations of Molly Goddard.

The exhibition sponsorship awards the minimalist simplicity of Marta Jakubowski alongside Sadie Williams' work with shimmering lurex. The showcases will take place at London Fashion Week between 18th-22nd September.
